Love Bugs,

Last night, Anna, you would not go to sleep. You have a cold so your little nose is all stuffed up. I know it is uncomfortable to lay flat and you are just not a pillow person yet! I think that you also wanted to be close to your mommy and daddy. When you girls are sick, you always snuggle up and want to be held. It may seem strange to you that we enjoy that. In those moments, we just eat it up; because we can hold our babies close and offer them comfort. So last night, as you were snuggled up to Daddy and had finally fallen asleep, I snapped this picture.

So much love. I wonder if some day, when you are both teenagers, if somewhere in your subconscious, you will remember moments like this. If you will remember us holding you when you were sick or upset. If you will know that our hearts just squeeze when we watch you sleep so soundly in your beds. I hope you well. Because it is true. You are so loved and such a blessing. I hope you know it always.
